Fashion and music are constantly reinvented when artists pay homage by “covering” classic pieces. So, for Fashion’s Night Out, Converse is commissioning new interpretations of classic songs.
Record an original interpretation of either
- “Blackbird” by The Beatles
- “Black Water” by The Doobie Brothers
- “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” by KT Tunstall
If your recording is chosen as a winner, you’ll be flown out to Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn to re-record and master your cover with professional engineers. The recording session will be filmed and featured on Converse’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The new recordings will be paired with one original recording from each winner to create a six song compilation that will be made available this fall at some of Converse’s premiere retailers including Bloomingdale’s.
