Music’s been a part of my life for a very long time. If there’s such a thing as a skill-hoarding disorder – I have it. I started playing piano when I was 4 and the violin when I was 9. I loved both and took lessons for years. I was concert mistress of several string ensembles and orchestras growing up (including a fiddle group where I wore a cowboy hat). My dad and I used to build sound amplifiers and go to ham fests to check out vintage speakers and tubes. We spent a lot of nights in our basement listening to jazz records.

Some Fun Facts: I love knitting. My favorite non-musical sound: animals drinking water. I’m addicted to the Internet, like everyone else. I have a replica of the record player in the movie A Clockwork Orange. Continue reading

There’s a Shark in Our Office!

We recommend listening to the Jaws theme song while viewing this video.

Want to recreate the moment? Go find yourself a Remote Control Shark Blimp and a few Nerf Guns.
